GACKT Official blog update. Translation below:

After taking a nap, I went to train.
Anyway, to get my body moving, I went to the gym in the hotel to exercise.

Even so,
the possibility of meeting other guests in the hotel’s gym is
really, as good as, next to zero.

I started my lonely training.
Well, I’ll just think of it as better that the equipment are available.
When you train alone, it’s the first time that it becomes something that belongs to you.
It’s like brushing your teeth.
You brush your teeth alone too.
Young children normally have their parents next to them
and checking their teeth once they’re done brushing them.
They’re hardly able to brush their teeth properly alone.

It’s the same with training.
It’s not something that you do because someone is watching you,
but it’s something that properly do and carry out your own decided sets even when no one is watching.
It’s exactly the same as brushing your teeth.

It’s not a huge thing.
It’s just something to get used to.

After training, I had a cup of tea.
The view of Los Angeles from the top of the hill is not bad too.

I went to the supermarket,
to look for San Pellegrino, which I like, and buy it.
If they have it I’ll be happy but otherwise, I’ll just have to look for other nice tasting sparkling water.

While travelling in the car, I started out the window.
Maybe it’s eccentricity, maybe it’s their strong individuality but… there are a lot of interesting people in the day in Los Angeles.
Anyway, there are a lot of odd people.

Upon arriving at the supermarket, I went to have a look at the organic corner.
As my eyes are bad, blueberries are a necessity.
For some reason, this supermarket has 3 to 5 different varieties of blueberries displayed.
I don’t really know what’s the difference though.

Anyway, I have almost nothing that I need to buy but
I wonder why I always end up walking around and going through every corner…
The supermarket is always fun.
For some reason, just looking at the foodstuff gets me excited.

I simply bought a few bottles of my much-wanted sparkling water and brought them back to the hotel.
My daily consumption is no joke.

After finishing my work in the room, I headed out to eat.
I went for fusion style Chinese cuisine at a place near Rodeo Drive, but it was an impressive failure.
Online, it’s said that it’s pretty good but you don’t know what it’s really like until you actually eat it.
Oh well, such things do happen too.

After finishing my meal, I cracked open the fortune cookie that they gave me.
While looking at it, I thought that it would be great if these lucky numbers could be useful in the tournament.

『Let’s see…
34, 4, 12, 37, 32, 33… You’ve got to be kiddning me〜〜〜!』

I ended up exclaiming unintentionally.
In poker, this would be a line of shitty numbers.
No no no no,
if I play while believing in these numbers I’ll probably lose right!

What lucky numbers, seriously.
There isn’t a single good number.

Well, things like these do happen too.
It’s up to you to decide what you want to believe in.
What am I going to do if these numbers really do appear in a crucial situation…
No no no no, there’s no way.

I’ll at least keep this in a corner of my heart and proceed.
Finally, the tournament is starting.
It’s my first WPT.
