The series of events that I posted about yesterday, known as the Dogeza Expo, was a little different from what I imagined.
Sorry for the misinterpretation in my post.
Apparently, when a customer angrily demanded an apology in response to the arrogant attitude of a security guard, the security guard did dogeza, the customer yelled, saying, "I never told you to do that!"
I would like to organize this story and once again express my opinion.
First of all, if the customer did dogeza without being forced to do so, it seems malicious.
Showy dogeza can also be seen as a way of attacking someone who has made the guard appear weak.
Why did the security guard do such a thing?
Was he irritated with various customers and the staff around him?
Didn't he know that this was an inappropriate option for settling the situation?
Secondly, why was the customer irritated enough to yell?
I can understand being angry about the congestion at the Expo and the poorly managed environment at the start of the expo.
But if you get angry and say "Apologize!", then you're left in a world of emotional arguments.
Even if they apologize, isn't it likely to end in frustration?
Either way, nothing is resolved.
It's obvious that there are problems with the attitudes and actions of both sides, but if they had listened to each other's side of things, there would surely have been points on which they could understand each other.
It's everyone's first Expo, so some confusion is inevitable.
Where there are a lot of people, there is a lot of joy and stress.
I think the problem with what happened in the end is that the way each person expressed their emotions escalated into attacks on the other person.
If you can't contain your anger or frustration and you attack someone, it always grows bigger and comes back to haunt you.
I'm not saying you should continue to put up with unreasonable behavior, but if you let your emotions heat up, it will lead to the worst possible outcome.
If you attack in anger, you won't get across what you really want to say.
All you'll get across is anger.
That's what I was always like when I was younger.
Looking back, there were many times when I wondered, "Why did I say that?"
I let my anger get the better of me and yelled at the other person, "Why can't you do this?" or "Why don't you do the obvious thing?", but in the end, nothing got across.
All that got across was the fact that GACKT was angry.
If you don't put yourself in the other person's shoes and explain things logically, the problem will never be solved.
All that's left from emotional conflicts is resentment, anger, and frustration.
Let's all grow up.
I still have a lot to fix, but I feel like I'm growing little by little.

Also, if you see people attacking each other as a third party, at least try to calm them down.
I don't understand the feelings of people who take pictures of security guards kneeling on the ground and spread the footage.
Imagination and empathy.
If everyone thought even a little about the happiness and stress of others, this wouldn't happen.
You can be indifferent to this world, but you can't be uninvolved.
It will always come back to you in the end.
This has gotten long, but
let's start by changing our way of thinking little by little, and create a world where we can all laugh together happily.

I saw an article about a customer at the Osaka Expo who was forced to kneel down after a staff member was unable to guide them.
The ridiculous term "Dogeza Expo" has gone viral.
To be honest, it's just creepy.
It's true that staff are there as a "job", so it's probably their "role" to know the location and guide people.
But there are probably all kinds of circumstances at the site, and I'm sure not everyone at your company is good at their job.
I understand that the convenience of the operation doesn't matter to the customer.
But the customer's actions of insulting the staff and making them kneel down are just weird.
The Expo is supposed to be a "place of exchange" for countries to bring together the latest technology and culture and connect them to the future, right?

It's sad to see how the level of civility in Japan has declined in the last 20 years. Isn't customer harassment a prime example of this decline in civility?
I wish those who visit could also enjoy themselves with a more open mind.

After YFCz, LAST SONGS 2025, and Maou Symphony,
the 25th anniversary has seen the possibility of a “new way of performing.”
