Director’s diary for movie Karanukan
Today GACKT and Akiyoshi Kumiko joined us at the Hamano set, and wonderful footage was born.
The picture was taken from yesterday’s Noro scene which took a day to film. We managed to get the best quality footage.
The Noro’s costumes, songs, dances, and prayers too are of world-class level

Movie Karanukan Filming Event
The “Niraikanai Sea of Fire Festival” was a great success!
With the sublime sunsets, we were able to call upon the gods of Niraikanai.

Movie「Karanukan」Director’s Diary
Today’s film location. Tomorrow an even more spectacular beach of Yaeyama awaits. All the staff, and cast members are energetic, increasingly, the desire for a great production grows.
Lead actor GACKT’s acting skills too had some ingenuity added in, and his power of expression has become an art.
In the earlier half, heroine Kimura Ryouka brilliantly acted out the biggest highlight.
Great weather continues daily. Looks like our time in Okinawa will continue cranking up at this rate.

Director’s diary, 「Kāranukan」movie
This morning I looked at the moon in the Motobu Peninsula, I saw the sunset from the hotel in the island.
I feel so happy
White is the close-up color in Kāranukan.
The key is the sun, God, Nirai-Kanai *, it is the symbol of transformation and regeneration.
White will appear in the movie in its own way, transparent, the movie is ruled by life and love.
GACKT is white, Ryoka is white, it is an important color
*In Okinawan folklore, there are tales of traditional gods and a land of the gods called Nirai-Kanai, an unknown faraway land from where happiness is brought
