But since I’m always travelling abroad, I’d like to take autised japan something of our country and our culture. I think that my next actions have to face the global market. Also, I wonder if it’s not the case that other your people have a look at the world outside.

4) Till 5 years ago you didn’t drink coffee a lot, right?

Coffee is a drink with an aroma made for adults so, to get used to it I had to practice a lot and make it drinkable. I gave some serious thought about the reason why I couldn’t drink it. I think that the answer could be summarized in ‘It’s bitter’. The point is that, about every food, before you can say it’s tasty, you have to think about it in that way.
Among kids there are those who like it and those who don’t.
Kids that discover coffee can find out if it applies to their tastes or not because they want to imitate their parents, but I’m sure there are more kids that don’t like it instead of those that like it as adults do.
when tasting a kind of food instead, they think about it as delicious first, surely our minds make us think that way. Even I, experienced this many times, always looking for tasty foods, only to find out about coffee and make it become something I could drink..
Since that moment on I started preparing it myself, and bit by bit i came to appreciate it flavour more, and once got used to it a understood how good it really is.
Well, meeting the Nestle president Takaoka, we talked about many habits linked with coffee, and I understood that it’s a drink with a deep meaning in the whole world. SO we thought about what we could do together, and made some changes.
Well I showed my interest in Nestle Japan, and received their approval, I was really happy.
I’d like for new musicians to do the same and experience many new things.

5) So, until 5 years ago you didn’t drink coffee at all. And now?

Well, more than saying I didn’t drink it, considering my way of being, I was just not used to it. Not completely. It’s not that I didn’t like it, it’s just that I wanted to make it become a food I could be familiar with and make it match my tastes completely . I was able to realise this objective and I want to go on this route. Unfortunately, since we live in a society that is based on informations, if you think lightly of sime kind of issue without penetrating deep in it, everyone will find out. However,if it wasn’t so, I would have surely give up on my objective and keep on not drinking coffee.

Today, Nestle Japan and GACKT made an international agreement, that is also made of CMs and MVs, and for his tours that will start next March, it’ll be released with the sponsorship on Nestle in the whole country, furthermore, for members only, it’ll be possible to download a piece of his new album.

6) And about Nestle being your sponsor?

Well, up till now I worked as a musician, and I always thought that I had to be chained till the end to the same recording company to succeed. However, nowadays cd’s are not top sellers anymore.
So, an artist to be able to gain its position again, what should he do?
Even if it doesn’t not depend from the recording company, this collaboration was made so that we can support each other, representing the society in the world. Nowadays, the musical industry suffered a shrinking, so musicians have to try and go on with things they like and ask for other companies support.
I think that this is something that many other musicians have to start doing, and I feel that there are many companies wishing for it.
Also, I started this activity so that the recording company did not have to close for good, searching for new incentive.

At the end of the event, reporters tried the coffee make with the new coffee maker.

Well, apart from the taste of the drink that is immediately perceived, since there’s a touch screen, there is also the possibility to choose the quantity of sugar desired.
Furthermore, you can choose not only coffee but also Japanese thè and caffè latte.

It is also possible to increase the pressure on the lather till 15 atm, so that its taste is even more intense.

In the photos you can see the coffee perfectly mixed with milk inside the cup, and the quantity of milk can be modified according to consumers tastes

Till september the 23rd it’ll be possible to have a taste of this delicious coffee from the future in the Nescafe Harajuku for free. Why miss this chance?
The shop is open from 11 to 18 and after that till 21 pm.
Note that on september the 19th, the shop will be closed for administrative matters.

We’ll leave you all with GACKT’s final comment about the future cafe:
“By all means, having the honor to attend and try the future cafe and to appreciate its taste from now on was amazing.
I’m sorry to not be able to convey its taste online, but trust me, you should try it. I think it’s the best ever.”
