ORICON.CO.JP: GACKT gets his nipples drilled “honestly, is it really that funny?”

On the 6th, artist GACKT appeared at the premiere event for the movie “Fly to Saitama ~From Lake Biwa with Love~” (released on November 23rd) at the Tsutenkaku Hondori Shopping Center in Osaka.

During the Osaka talk, it was revealed that GACKT experienced a “nipple drill” in the drama. “I’m on the receiving end of this,” he explained, “This is how I do things, right?” and then reflected, “Is this really funny? I still have doubts in my mind (lol). As long as the reaction is good, that’s fine.” he said bluntly.

In the movie, Osakans are portrayed as “all bad people,” and GACKT lamented, “I can only feel anxious. It’s scary to make Osaka your enemy.” At the end of the joke-filled talk, he emphasized the importance of being “stupid” and expressed his feelings that “this country can become a better country by laughing at the things that are stupid.”

A sequel to the movie “Fly to Saitama,” which was made into a live-action film based on Mineo Maya’s manga starring GACKT and Fumi Nikaido, and achieved box office revenue of 3.76 billion yen. The Saitama Liberation Front’s ambition to “create a sea in Saitama” spreads to Kansai, leading to a confrontation between East and West.
