GACKT Official blog update. Translation below:

After having tea at the hotel lobby, I headed to the airport.
The fact that I feel a little lonely
should be proof that I’ve come to like Estonia.
I’ll come again.

Arrived at the airport.
Just like when I arrived, the airport is smaller than I expected after all.
It’s like a local airport but the ambience is exceptionally beautiful.
After completing the procedures of boarding, I headed to the security check.

While heading towards the security check,
I could feel the technologically advanced Estonia-ness.

For most countries, their officials will manually
check the tickets and then let passengers enter but
Estonia has made it completely automatic.
It’s like a more advanced version of what Roppongi Hills’ business tower has
that makes it look like automation is advancing rather beautifully.

There’s a queue for security but
other countries cannot compare with the strictness of the security check here.
Liquids, creams, and such
have to be taken out of our bags first otherwise it’ll be troublesome.

In this queue,
there was something that I’ve never seen at an airport before, in other words, I found a 【Gacha】.
You might think of it as disproportionate to have it in such a place but
it’s like it exudes a beautiful and magical atmosphere
that seems to alleviate the stringent atmosphere of the security.

Looking at it up close, it’s cute after all.
When I asked the staff what it was,
it seems that someone who has liquids with them
can put their liquids into the vinyl bags from this Gacha
and get through security.

It’s amazing that they put a Gacha machine here
on purpose just for this reason.
What sense!

Then,
I got caught in the stricter than expected security,
and they fiddled around inside my bag while I said OK over and over again.
Furthermore,
I was better off but
a woman who was queuing in front of me even had her presents, which were perfumes, opened
and completely torn apart.
How torn apart it was is no joke.

It’s rare that security is this strict.
Especially in opening up a woman’s bag and exposing
things that she wouldn’t want others to see like underwear and such.
Furthermore, you’re not allowed to open it yourself.
It’s however the officials want to, and however they would like to.

『Wouldn’t that piss people off… A female officer should handle a woman’s items too』

That was what I thought but there wasn’t such an atmosphere at all.
I suppose you can say that you can feel the Russian culture in this area.

Regrettable… I thought as I felt like I finally got through security.

Even so,
the lobby is really beautiful and cute.
It’s well expressed as something like a large living room but
it feels exactly like that.

Furthermore,
I found the grand piano and a passenger suddenly started playing it.
I thought of playing a duet with him but since I didn’t have time, this time, I simply passed it by.

To think that
there is even a table tennis table here…
Now I’m really done for.

Indeed, it’s really boring while waiting at the airport.
Even for adults, it’s quite boring.
I suppose for children, that boredom is probably tens of times stronger.
Considering that, I can understand why children raise hell at airports.

It was finally boarding time and I walked towards the plane to Ukraine but
I was surprised by how small it was.

『Is this alright…』

Even when I went in, it’s quite small.
I don’t even know why they put business and economy class separately.
What the hell is this.

When we took off, it shook quite a bit but well, I suppose this is normal too.

The clouds are quite close to the ground.
This too,
could be a reason why the sky in this country was beautiful.

Alright then,
I wonder what will happen in Ukraine…
