GACKT unhappy with Hollywood actress’ attitude 「Is that okay」

On the 5th, singer GACKT (43) did a stage greeting at the Roaring Screening Event for American movie 「Kong: Skull Island」(in cinemas now), which was held in Tokyo, and revealied his shock at the actions of Brie Larson (27), who acts as the movie’s herione.

GACKT, who provided his voice for the protagonist in the Japanese dub of the movie, took part in the Japan premier on March 15, which was held in Tokyo Shinjuku’s Kabukicho. The event was also attended by Larson, actor Tom Hiddleston (43) who acted as the lead protagonist, co-star Samuel L. Jackson (68), and Sasaki Nozomi (29) who was also involved in the Japanese dubbing of the movie. However, the event was held outdoors and it was a tough situation with the temperature dipping down to 6 degrees celsius.

GACKT recalled the situation back then, saying「It was exceptionally cold, so the actress (Larson) left (the stage) halfway. And I thought “Is that okay”」. Larson was smiling on stage until just before it ended, but maybe because of her strapless dress, it appeared to be unable to withstand the cold after all.

On stage, Jackson also gave her his jacket, among other gentlemanly gestures but the heroine was not there for the final photo shoot. GACKT said「I figured she was someone who goes with her own flow」, looking unhappy.
