GACKT ‘s『LAST VISUALIVE』tour, that 120,000 people attended, is completed. Next, the World Tour!
GACKT’s nationwide tour『GACKT WORLD TOUR 2016 LAST VISUALIVE Saigo no Tsuki -LAST MOON-supported by Nestle』 which started on March 19, had its final at Saitama Super Arena on July 3 (120,000 people attended).
GACKT’s first concept tour in 7 years, the『VISUALIVE』is a live that is expressed using「music」,「film」, and「performance」. With 42 performances at 30 locations within around 3 months, it was a large-scale tour that had 120,000 people attending it.
With this time being billed as the『LAST VISUALIVE』, will this concept tour be the last? We thus report the ongoings of this final.
The live was delayed by 15 minutes and started at 16:15. Projected on the screen was Yoshitsune, performed by GACKT. Despite that we were here to watch a live concert, the performance starts with a「film」, and gives you the impression that it is a live unlike any other. The story is of the battle between Minamoto no Yoshitsune and his elder brother Yoritomo. Just as Yoshitsune=GACKT, who has a number of arrows stuck in him, was about to be hit again by a new barrage of arrows which were released at the command of Yoritomo,「ARROW」was played and the live began. Followed by him singing「Hana mo Chiyu」with a backdrop of flower petals being scattered, and the heartrending ballad「RETURNER～Yami no Shuuen～」. With a passionate performance of「RIDE OR DIE」, he then moved to「Akatsukizukuyo -DAY BREAKERS-」. And then, the scene transitions into the next act.
Here, time was rewound, to Yoshitsune and his brother, Yoritomo’s reminiscence.
The two of them reunite. Despite that Yoshitsune’s「Yoshi」refers to righteousness in his name, elder brother Yoritomo’s「suspicion」led to an omen of a tragic future. Although we were watching a live, it felt as if you「yourself」also became one of the characters in the story.
The stage returns to the「live」, the beautiful melodies of「Utakata no Yume-」was played by GACKT himself, followed by「斬～ZAN～-」. For「Kugutsu ga Gotoku-」, he unveiled a wonderfully sharp「popping dance」. True to its title, as if they were「Kugutsu＝marionnettes」,the eerieness and profoundness were woven together in the rich world. It was just like a dramatisation of the uneasy relationship between Yoshitsune and elder brother Yoritomo.
Then, after he sang「Youranka -LULLING–」they entered the third part. The video depicting the friendship between Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Taira no Noritsune was drastically changed, and on the screen was a game tournament with the familiar members of Camui♂Gakuen「Ikemen Research Club」! Just as if it disentangled the strain in your heart that has been building up, a wave of explosive laughter erupted from the audience as they watched the enjoyable game tournament.
Then, they returned to the live and the stage burst forth. The high tempo of「ONE MORE KISS-」and「MIRROR-」gave good vibes, and one would naturally yell out. (Fans)「GACKT―！」,(GACKT)「I can’t hear yo~u」, they were entangled in this game of call and response, and it was as if the audience became one.
In the middle of the MC, DJ KOO (TRF) and sound producer TAKUMI gave GACKT, who would be celebrating his birthday on July 4, a surprise with a birthday cake ＆ flower bouquet! The whole audience celebrated his birthday eve on that day with all their hearts.
Returning back to the live,「U+K」,「舞哈BABY!! -WooHa-（WooHa Baby）」and「Koi no FRIDAY!!!」united the audience into one as the songs continued, and an exhilarating moment unfolded, it was as if it blew away the damp of the rainy season.
「Kimi Dake no Boku de Iru Kara」started off with an acapella. As if to cleanse away the build up, our hearts were purified by the refreshing melody. Together with a video,「P.S. I LOVE U」started. Our hearts were naturally warmed by the words which expressed a deep love.
And then, finally, the fourth part. A party of Yoshitsune’s friends gathered around him. Even while he felt at peace, Yoshitsune woke from his dream. We returned to the scene in the first part where his body was pierced by arrows. Then, as if he was about to return to his friends who have left before him… … He sat slouched in a chair on the stage, then the broken and falling apart GACKT performed「Setsugekka -The end of silence-」. It was like a requiem to his friends. As he was surrounded by his band members, dancers, and the actors who performed in the drama were projected onto the screen, the performance ended. The live, that has gone strong for as long as 4 hours, rolled the final credits, as if to tell us that the long-running tour has truly ended.
Then, there was a new revelation! In the ending credits, it said this『VISUALIVE’s』「2017 world tour begins!」. In addition, it has been decided that for the anime『TRICKSTER -Edogawa Ranpo「Shounen Tanteidan」yori-』, which will be broadcasted from October onwards, the opening theme song will be 「Kimi Dake no Boku de Iru Kara」, and that GACKT will be performing as a voice actor for the character the Fiend with Twenty Faces.

Il live ha ritardato di 15 minuti ed è partito alle 16:15. Proiettato sullo schermo era Yoshitsune, impersonato da GACKT. nonostante fossimo lì per vedere un concerto live, la performance parte con un「film」, e dà l’impressione di qualcosa di diverso dal solito. La storia è la battaglia di Minamoto no Yoshitsune ed il suo fratello più grande Yoritomo. Come Yoshitsune=GACKT, che è trafitto da tante frecce, stava per essere colpito da altrettante frecce scagliate dall’armata di Yoritomo,「ARROW」è cominciata e così è iniziato il live. Seguito da lui che canta「Hana mo Chiyu」con uno sfondo di petali di fiori che cadono, e la struggente ballata「RETURNER～Yami no Shuuen～」. con un’appassionata performance di「RIDE OR DIE」, ha continuato con「Akatsukizukuyo -DAY BREAKERS-」. E poi, tra scena è passata all’atto successivo.
Qui, il tempo torna indietro, a Yoshitsune e a suo fratello, ricordo di Yoritomo.
I due si riuniscono. Nonostante Yoshitsune si riferisca alla giustizia del suo nome「Yoshi」, il fratello maggiore Yoritomo「sospetto」porta presagio di tragico futuro. Nonostante stessimo guardando un live, sembrava di essere 「noi stessi」come personaggi della storia.

Poi, sono tornati al live. Il tempo veloce di「ONE MORE KISS-」e「MIRROR-」hanno dato buone vibrazioni, ed uno potrebbe urlare. (Fans)「GACKT―！」,(GACKT)「Non posso sentirvi~」, si è cominciato questo gioco di domanda e risposta, ed è stato come se il pubblico diventasse una sola persona.

Tornando indietro al live,「U+K」,「舞哈BABY!! -WooHa-（WooHa Baby）」e「Koi no FRIDAY!!!」sono andate avanti con l’aiuto del pubblico, ed un momento esilarante, come se si spazzasse l’umidità della stagione delle piogge.
「Kimi Dake no Boku de Iru Kara」è partito a cappella. Come per pulire l’accumulo, i nostri cuori sono stati purificati dalla rinfrescante melodia. Insieme ad un video,「P.S. I LOVE U」è cominciata. I nostri cuori sono scaldati naturalmente dalle parole che sono state espresse con profondo amore.
E poi, finalmente, la quarta parte. Un party con gli amici di Yoshitsune riuniti intorno a lui. Anche se si stava sentendo in pace, Yoshitsune si è svegliato dal suo sogno. Siamo tornati alla scena della prima parte dove il suo corpo era trafitto da freccec. Poi, come se steps tornando dai suoi amici che se ne erano andati… … si è seduto su una sedia sul palco, poi il distrutto GACKT ha cantato「Setsugekka -The end of silence-」. Inoltre, è stato deciso che per l’anime『TRICKSTER -Edogawa Ranpo「Shounen Tanteidan」yori-』, che sarà trasmesso da Ottobre in poi, la sigla iniziale sarà 「Kimi Dake no Boku de Iru Kara」, e poi GACKT darà la voce al personaggio Demone dalle Venti facce.
