The long awaited sequel stage play, [Moon Saga -Secret of Yoshitsune- Chapter 2] has kicked off. The story begins from March in year 1184 2 months after the final scene in the first play. It is set in the days after the Heian Era. The Mononoke, who were feared since ancient times, the Mononofu, who are humans who gained the Mononoke's powers, and the humans, who are being ruled by the Mononofu. In this scenario, the Heike and the Genji families, along with the other Mononofu around them, possess various powers like telepathy and seeing the future.
The opening looks back to the first chapter. A stylish video captures the events when Yoshitsune awoke the powers which resided within him and killed his cousin and childhood friend, Minamoto no Yoshinaka (later known as Kiso Yoshinaka).
This was a prominent showcase of video usage. Projection mapping was used to its fullest in the background, using a simple device in the front of the stage, a video tailored to the scene was projected to create depth. It was an enjoyable stage evolution which changed in sync with the actors' performances. The scene constantly changes as reality and illusion worked interchangeably to create the image of flipping a pop-up book. Not only was it easy to imagine the kinds of powers that the Mononofu possessed, it greatly enhanced the entertainment factor of the play.
Thoughts of Yoshinaka in the woods, the anguish which confronts Yoshitsune, a samurai named Nori who is as beautiful and delicate as a woman.
It is he who is known as the strongest Mononofu in the Heike, along with his brother, Taira no Tomomori, who looks for the path of peace between the Genji and Heike with Yoshitsune. However, his half-brother Minamoto no Yorimoto, and his wife Hojo Masako, look for ways to bring Yoshitsune down using Kajiwara Kagetoki to cause disorder... ...
The stage setup uses numerous steep slopes and creates an unparalleled highlight of intensive action. The amount of training that it took to pull off the scenes will definitely catch your attention. Furthermore, the gifts of GACKTs daily training can be enjoyed in the superhuman wire action fights.

Dunque Yoshitune è il protagonista di questa storia ma non vuol dire che lui sia il personaggio più importante tra tutti gli altri. Penso che Yoshitsune abbia completamente distrutto il mondo di questo periodo anche se nella storia viene considerato un eroe che ha sconfitto la famiglia Heike.
Molti libri di storia descrivo la famiglia Heike come il male e invece la famiglia Genji il bene. Nel mondo che ho creato io questa volta io non ho descritto la famiglia Heike come un male. Ogni una famiglia aveva proprio principio e una propria convinzione da seguire a costo della vita e io ho voluto descrivere gli incontri fatali tra le due famiglie con l'ipotesi che le due famiglie stessero cercando una strada per la pace.

Oltre ai vari progetti nel campo musicale, cinematografico e tanti altri stai scrivendo la sceneggiatura. Anche scrivere ti piace?
No..... Per niente!!! Quando la penna scorre va bene ma ci sono delle volte in cui non so proprio che cosa scrivere. E in quei casi per staccare un attimo la mente cerco sempre di chiacchierare con persone o studio un po' di documenti storici sperando che mi arrivi qualche ispirazione.
Ma come fai ad avere tempo di studiare i documenti storici????
La notte. Fondamentalmente io non dormo.
Ci saranno tante scene di azione?
Sicuramente si. Ma non vorrei fare cose banali. Anche l'azione fa parte dell'esprimersi: per esempio uno prende la spada e la brandisce perché è stato spinto da un sentimento molto forte....perciò ogni gesto è per esprimersi, penso.
「Fare uno spettacolo al teatro 」
Perché hai voluto così tanto fare questo spettacolo?
Perché recitare sul palcoscenico è molto complesso. Se hai imparato a fare un bello spettacolo al teatro vuol dire che hai sviluppato la tua capacità di esprimerti. La tecnica di esprimerti che impari sul palcoscenico è molto preziosa e le esperienze sono le armi per un'artista.
Fare il produttore e anche l'autore dello spettacolo non è un impiego pesante?
No. Faccio anche il sceneggiatore e il regista ma questo non mi pesa. Alcuni mi hanno detto "no, queste cose non si possono fare al teatro" ma invece non ci sono tanti limiti al teatro. Non puoi fare spettacoli banali alla moda privi di originalità. Insistiamo proprio su questo stile perché è questo fare il teatro.
Qual'è il messaggio di "Yoshitsune hiden capitolo 2"?
"Puoi creare il tuo futuro" il potere di creare e cambiare e il tuo futuro è nelle tue mani.

Going deeper in this subject I came to think that the origin of vampires is actually the Japanese Mononoke that spread out to Europe after. The Heian period to me is the most charming one in all Japanese history.
Why did you chose Yoshitsune as the main character?
So Yoshitsune is the main character of this story but it doesn't mean he's the most important character among them all. I think that Yoshitsune has completely destroyed the world of this period even if he's considered an hero by history because he defeated Heike family.
Many history books describe the Heike family as the evil ones and the Genji family as the good ones. In the world I created this time I didn't describe the Heike family as evil. Every family has its own principal and his own moral to follow as a matter of life and death and I wanted to describe the fatal meetings between these two family with the theory that the two family were looking for a way to make peace with each other.
「Yoshitsune grows up through sorrow 」
The relationship with the two important characters:平知盛Tairano Tomonori and 平教経Tairano noritsune?
A friendship is born between Yoshitsune and them but then for political reasons they are forced to fight.

Yes, it's really hard. Especially if there are more than one interesting person. But it would be even worse if there wasn't anyone.
Other the the various project in the musical field, cinema and other you are also writing the script. You like to write too?
No... at all!!! When the pen is flowing it's really good but there are times where I really don't know what to write. And in those cases, to detach my mind a bit from the writing I always try to talk with people or I study some historical documents, hoping that the inspiration will come to my mind.
How can you have the time to study historical documents???
At night. I basically don't sleep.
Will there be a lot of action scenes?
Yes for sure. But I really don't want to do ordinary things. Even action is part of expressing ourselves: for example if someone takes the sword and wield it, it's because he's moved from a very strong feeling... so I think that any movement is to express ourselves.

La rappresentazione teatrale [Moon Saga - Il segreto di Yoshitsune - 2° capitolo] ha tenuto la sua prova costume pubblica e ha rivelato l'eroina il 29 (Luglio) a Tokyo. GACKT, che recita ed è anche coinvolto con la storia originale, sceneggiatura, produzione e creazione musicale, ha partecipato con alcuni attori Kawasaki Mayo e Yuumi Hiro.
La rappresentazione teatrale è il seguito della rappresentazione prodotta da GACKT nel 2012 "Moon Saga - Il segreto di Yoshitsune".
Alla conferenza, il ruolo dell'eroina "Hiyori" è stato rivelato per la prima volta, tra più di 100 partecipanti che hanno fatto l'audizione, Kurosa Arisa e Hatsune sono state finalmente selezionate. Kuroda ha detto "E' stato un tempo molto lungo. Sono veramente felice che finalmente è stato deciso!" disse mentre piangeva lacrime di gioia dopo che l'eroina era stata decisa. Ha sorriso con sollievo dicendo "Ho sognato ogni 5 giorni più o meno di essere cacciata dalla rappresentazione teatrale!"
Hatsune, che farà il suo debutto sul palco, ha detto entusiasticamente che "Questo ruolo non può essere trasmesso usando solo le parole. Devi esprimere il sentimento di che tipo di persona è "Hiyori" e trasmetterlo al pubblico!"
GACKT ha detto che la ragione di questa sua decisione è dovuta dal fatto che lui "sente che hanno del potenziale" . Li ha anche grandi aspettative per loro, "spera che loro possano mostrare le loro qualità essenziali, non recitando ma facendolo sapere al pubblico". D'altra parte, GACKT ha scosso le due ragazze dicendo per scherzo "Non si sa quanto lontano possano andare. Lo spettacolo comincerà al Teatro Meiji di Tokyo dall'8 al 18 Agosto, poi si muoverà a Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Sendai e Saitama.

The stage play [Moon Saga - Yoshitsune Hidan - the 2nd chapter] held it's public dress rehearsal and unveiling of the heroine on 29th (july) in Tokyo. GACKT, who is starring as well as involved with the original story, screen play, production and music creation, attended together with fellow performers Kawasaki Mayo and Yuumi Hiro.
This stage play is the sequel to the GACKT-produced 2012 stage play "Moon Saga - Yoshitsune Hidan".
At the conference, the role of the heroine "Hiyori" was unveiled for the first time, out of the over 100 people who auditioned, Kuroda Arisa and Hatsune were finally selected. Kuroda said that "It's been a really long time. I'm really happy now that it's finally decided!" while crying tears of joy after the heroine was decided. She smiled in relief saying "I had dreams every 5 days or so of being cast out of the play!"
Hatsune, who will be making her stage debut, said enthusiastically that "This role cannot be conveyed solely using words. You have to express the feeling of the kind of person 'Hiyori' is outwards to the audience!"
GACKT explained that the reason for this decision was because he "felt they had the potential". He also holds high expectations for them, "hopes that they could showcase their essential qualities, not really acting but making it known to the audience". On the other hand, GACKT rattled the two of them by saying jokingly "It's not known how far they can go. Anyway, they can try and whoever who cannot perform well will be cut out from the play. It's cruel and I'm cold-hearted."
The stage play will start playing at Tokyo Meiji Theatre from 8-18 August, then move on as scheduled to o Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Sendai and Saitama.

Il talento Kuroda Arisa (26), la modella Hatsune (21) e il cantante GACKT, hanno partecipato ad un recital tenuto in uno studio di Tokyo il 29 (Luglio) per la selezione dell'eroina della rappresentazione teatrale "Moon Saga - Il segreto di Yoshitsune" che ha come attore GACKT.
Selezionata tra 100 persone che hanno partecipato alle audizioni aperte. Kuroda che è passata alle audizioni finali ha detto "è stato così lungo e sono davvero felice!" piangendo di gioia.
Questa rappresentazione teatrale è il secondo capitolo di "Moon Saga - Il segreto di Yoshitsune" del 2012. GACKT, che è stato coinvolto con la storia originale e la sceneggiatura come produttore e attore della rappresentazione, ha detto che "è stato considerato il potere dell'abilitá di recitare usando solo il linguaggio del corpo e il potenziale dell'attrice" come parte dei criteri di selezione per passare. Come per il doppio casting di due persone per interpretare l'eroina, la valutazione di GACKT è stata che lui "sente che entrambe hanno molte delle qualitá essenziali e il più alto potenziale."
GACKT ha anche detto "Comunque permettiamo ad entrambe di provare e vediamo come va. Chiunque sia incapace di recitare bene sarà cacciata dallo spettacolo. Io sono crudele così." Questa dichiarazione ha scosso Kuroda e Hatsune ,a GACKT ha dichiarato che vuole entrambe a lottare fino alla fine per il ruolo.
La rappresentazione teatrale comincerà al teatro Meiji in Tokyo l'8 agosto. Poi si sposterà a Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima, Sendai e Saitama.

This stage play is the second chapter from the 2012 stage play "Moon Saga - Yoshitsune Hidan". GACKT, who was involved with the original story and screenplay as well as producing and starring in the play, said that "the power of (the ability) to perform using only body language and the potential (of the actress) was considered" as part of the selection criteria to pass. As for the the double casting of 2 people to play the heroine, GACKT's evaluation was that he "felt they both had most of the essential qualities and the highest potential".
GACKT also said "Anyway let them both try and I'll see how it goes. Whoever who is unable to perform well will be dropped from the play. I'm cruel this way." This ドS remark rattled Kuroda and Hatsune but GACKT declared that he wants both of them to fight (for the role) to the end.
The stage play will begin on 8th August in Meiji Theatre in Tokyo. Then it'll move on to Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Sendai and Saitama.
