ItalianoGACKT Official X update. Translation below
One of my junior colleagues has passed away.
He was a guy who was desperately trying to live, even while carrying a lot on his shoulders.
Once,
he turned to drugs,
and regretted it deeply.
“I swear I’ll never do it again,”
and we even trained together to overcome his weak will.
The last time I saw him was in March of this year,
when he came to see my live performance.
Since then, he has come to me several times, saying, “I’m feeling so down.”
I thought I had answered his questions to my best,
but I wonder if I was really able to help him…
Now, I just feel a surge of regret,
and wonder if there was more I could have done.
He certainly caused social problems.
But still, to me,
he was a cute junior.
He would come and watch my rehearsals,
absorb everything he learned intently,
and strive to make a comeback.
Above all, he was a talented person with an amazing singing voice.
I can’t quite put my feelings into words.
But
May he rest in peace.
And,
As a vocalist who loved his talent,
I sincerely hope that his wonderful singing voice will remain in everyone’s hearts, even if just a little.
