I also watched the Korean version, but the Japanese remake is overwhelmingly better.
I was absolutely blown away by the drama’s structure, the script written specifically for the remake, the plot development, and the way it was shot.
It wasn’t dragging at all, and the pace was great.
The script was rewritten by Satomi Oshima specifically for the remake, and I was seriously surprised that the same drama could be so refined.
There are plenty of other remakes, but honestly, most of the originals are better.
In this case, the remake is overwhelmingly amazing.
Apparently, Korean director Ahn shot the Japanese version.
I wanted to see the set and see how they overcame the language barrier!
“Glory” was also incredibly entertaining, but I was amazed that they could create such a completely different kind of work.
What impressed me most was Takeru Sato’s acting.
I’ve always liked his acting, but this is far superior to his previous performances. I was so moved that I contacted Takeru directly and told him,
“I was so moved! It was amazing!”
At this point, I’m just a fan.
Also,
The heroine Fuka is great,
but Shiraishi Sei, who plays her best friend Reina, gives an amazing performance.
How can you make your face twitch so well?! I tried it myself many times while watching the drama, but I couldn’t.
She was so great that I empathized with her and began to hate her.
Plus, this drama had a huge budget.
Studio Dragon is amazing, as always.
It’s been a while since I stayed up all night watching a drama and binge-watched it all.
I was that hooked.
I bet if Japanese dramas had this kind of budget, they could make better works.
I feel like there are fewer and fewer interesting works these days.
I hope Japanese dramas do their best.
