GACKT Official X update. Translation below

An in-depth look at “Dark Symphony” was broadcast on Fuji TV’s “NON STOP.”

However, it seems that it wasn’t broadcast in some areas, so I’m planning to upload the video to TikTok as well.

By the way, I received quite a few questions from people who watched the broadcast, asking, “Are you singing only the vocals at 442Hz?”

To be honest, I was surprised that people reacted so much to that.

Technically speaking,
“A4 = 440Hz” is the global standard for sound.

But I always sing just a little higher than that,
and only the vocals at 442Hz.

In this case, with an orchestra of over 70 people and YFCz making sounds at the same time, the vocals would get buried if you tuned them normally.

Tuning your own voice just a little higher than the standard makes it sound clearer.

This isn’t just something I did this time, it’s one of the “behind the scenes tricks” I’ve been doing since 26.

Although a live performance may look like we’re just singing, there are actually a lot of intricate details that go into it.

Well, that’s a bit of a geeky topic, I know.
