GACKT OFFICIAL BLOG: As expected, Kyoto is great!

GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:

I started going out in the morning
for GemCerey’s event in Kyoto.

Immediately after I arrived in GemCerey’s headquarters
I did my push ups before the meeting.
Well, it’s a daily routine.

Then, I went into the meeting.
We made our way through it with care
as we talked about the concept and design
for new products.

I’m really happy that something I’ve planned and designed myself
can be put out into the world like this.

In the past, there was a limit
between the things I wanted to do and the things I can do but
now it’s become possible for me to do things to my satisfaction.

For example, we’re now even able to
release a variety of different colours for these sunglasses.

Japanese faces just aren’t
suitable with foreign products.
That’s why
we’ve released something
that comfortably fits the height of the Asian nose,
that’s suitable for the Asian face shape.
and that’s of course, cool as well.

It’s the same for wrist watches.
If I’m being particular about things it’ll definitely be endless but
doing this thoroughly actually started a few years back.

Finally, like this, we’re completed
something that I can wear on my wrist.

I checked each product
to make sure that nothing is wrong.

This time, we’re holding an event
that caters directly to only those people
who are into such jewellery.

We did the check of the final detailed design
and it will be delivered to everyone.
It’s a happy thing.

To everyone who was brought such immense joy.
I would sincerely like to thank them all.

The event lasted for 5 hours but
it was great that we did this.

The event ended without incident
and everyone did a closing round of push ups.
It was a scene that looked like a sporting event.

After being at GemCerey
VARTIX’s headquarters
I went for a final bowl of ramen to end my time in Kyoto.

It’s the annual 【Miyoshi】 ramen.

To be precise,
this time it’s more like 【Miyoshi’s Raa】.

Without the noodles, I tried eating it with only a ton of ingredients
but this is also delicious.

Turning this into a product would be workable too though.
It’s a favourite of mine.

Satisfied,
I briskly made my way to Kyoto Station.

The main area in Kyoto Station is exceptionally cold.
I felt a little sad too but
that also makes my time here more enjoyable,
and so I waited for the bullet train.

The main area was crowded with passengers
like when I first arrived in the station but
my heart was saved by the smiles of the students who waved at me.

The sight of me freezing as I wait in the station
is one that often occurs since I’m bad at dealing with cold.

Despite that
as expected, Kyoto is great!

I’ll come again.
