For the first time in awhile, I fired up the engines.
It’s my beloved Lamborghini Murcielago.
This is my hobby.
When talking about a restless horse,
this can barely be compared with the Aventador.
Then controls are difficult to master,
and if you happen to offend it it will soon get sulky.
This guy will easily run off a corner,
and it takes the best drivers to call it the “man’s toy”.
If you think about it,
the Aventador was really well done.
It’s not just a simple model change
that makes it a different car.
You can say it’s a completely different car…
The whole electrical controls,
in terms of the speed and the weight of the wheel’s handling it’s all been changed.
Initially when I first drove it,
I felt a strong difference as if
I was driving a Celsior instead.
[Is this… really under the same Lamborghini…? ]
I kept thinking over and over again.
Thinking like that could be because
it really felt like an all-door type.
When I first rode the Aventador,
a scene from Gundam came to mind…
In A Bao A Qu,
a Zeong mechanic,
a “Sakioka sergeant” and Char Aznable had a conversation.
This Sakioka is a separate thing but,
a character called Rio Marini is also involved but…
Well, it’s kind of a maniacal story.
Those who know what I’m talking about,
I really wonder if they exist within my fans…
That’s the conversation between Sakioka and Char.
Sakioka Sergeant
[80%? This isn’t a joke. At this point, the Zeong is at 100%]
Char
[That’s not realistic]
Sakioka Sergeant
[That’s how it is designed. People in the upper ranks won’t understand this.]
Char
[When you explained the method of usage earlier I understood but, the Psycommu… can I use that?]
Sakioka Sergeant
[As the colonel’s new type’s abilities are still unknown, I cannot confirm anything]
Char
[Say it straight. I don’t like this]
Sakioka Sergeant
[Apologies. If it’s any consolation, if Colonel is the one using it, things should go well]
Char
[Thank you. I’ll trust you.]
This exchange
is my favourite
in the Gundam series.
Well,
this clearly displays Char’s personality.
His way of thinking is
“Regardless of the rank of the person,
one should give their honest opinion without prejudice”.
He holds onto a principle of efficiency.
Another point is,
the Sakioka Sergeant, who has Char as a Colonel above his rank,
has without hesitation,
and with a strict attitude spoken to Char.
This is,
a sure confidence in what he prepared and made
in other words the Zeong, that gave him that personailty.
I’ve gone off topic but…
I long for a relationship like that which these two share.
As an athlete ,
as a musician,
as a racer,
even regardless of what business you’re doing,
if you don’t have a partner who can be like this to you,
you can’t conquer the world even if you alone has the power to.
To me, the Murcielago is a Gelgoog.
The Aventador could be considered as a Hyaku Shiki i guess…
To me,
more than the Aventador,
I prefer this unruly horse, the Murcielago.
The Murcielago has given me countless of problems all this time but,
as expected I still like it more.
Maybe it’s the feeling of driving an All-Door type…
This is my corrupted beloved Murcielago.
The fender got caught in the parking lot’s machine curb bar,
and the carbon got into the crack.
When this accident happened,
the curb bar became something like a stopper,
and I couldn’t move at all.
When visiting a close friend’s condominium,
for such an accident to happen…
Many security personnel
did many trials and errors on it
and in the end they had to remove the curb bar from the ground and its foundations.
Looking at the carbon that went into the crack looks painful.
The problem isn’t the cost of fixing it.
To find a good mechanic overseas is
really difficult.
Even in Japan,
to find a mechanic that you can really trust
will take quite a bit of time,
now in a foreign land will I even be able to find a good one…
Normally it would be normal to think that way but,
I’m blessed with the luck of meeting good people.
To call this my asset wouldn’t be an exaggeration.
Because of this accident,
unexpected new acquaintances came flying to me again.
With this as the cause,
I met a racer for Lamborghini,
and I met my friend’s close friend,
a guy called Zen.
After a meal together, we got along well,
then he invited us to visit his factory
so we did and we found many mechanics
working hard maintaining many beautiful cars which were lined up.
At his factory,
I was introduced to Zen and his Partner.
I spoke quite a bit with his mischievous partner.
While messing around with him and his partner,
we talked about quite a few different topics.
The two of them seem to enjoy talking freely like children.
Definitely my car was damaged but
to be able to meet such great people by chance
is something I’m thankful for.
Zen, the partner, who politely
introduced the cars in the factory one by one.
Zen and his partner
has serious expressions when the stood before the race car,
and spoke in detail about it,
and again the same scene crossed my mind.
I can practically dub their conversation…
[Ah~!!! Char and Sakioka!!!]

This made my chest tighten up.
If I explained about Gundam too that
it will take too much time…
Born from an accident,
a wonderful… new encounter.
My name is GACKT…
My motto is “Mr. ENCOUNTER”
When I get to meet these guys again,
maybe they’ll let me see something as wonderful again.

Per la prima volta dopo tanto tempo, ho acceso i motori.
La mia amata Lamborghini Murcielago.
Questo è il mio hobby.
Quando parlo di un cavallo instancabile,
esso può essere appena comparato con la Aventador.
I controlli sono difficili da gestire,
e se vi capita di offenderla, diventerà subito imbronciata.
Questo ragazzo potrà correre facilmente dietro l’angolo,
e ci vogliono i migliori piloti per chiamarla “il giocattolo dell’uomo”.
Se ci pensate,
l’Aventador è stata fatta davvero bene.
Non è un semplice cambio di modello
a rendere differente una macchina.
Si può dire che sia una macchina completamente diversa…
Tutti i controlli elettrici,
in termine di velocità e il peso del movimento delle ruote è tutto cambiato.
Inizialmente quando l’ho guidata per la prima volta,
ho sentito una forte differenza
come se invece io stessi guidando una Celsior.
[Questa è… davvero la stessa Lamborghini…? ]
ho pensato continuamente.
Capita di pensare così perchè
sembra davvero un all-door type.
Quando ho guidato per la prima volta l’Aventador,
mi è venuta in mente una scena di Gundam…

un “sergente Sakioka” e Char Aznable hanno avuto una conversazione.
Questo Sakioka è una cosa separata ma,
un personaggio chiamato Rio Marini era anche coinvolto ma…
Beh, è tipo una storia maniacale.
Quelli che sanno ciò di cui sto parlando,
mi chiedo se davvero esistono tra i miei fans…
Ecco la conversazione tra Sakioka e Char.

[80%? Questo non è uno scherzo. A questo punto, lo Zeong è al 100%]
Char
[Non è realistico]
Sergente Sakioka
[Così è disegnata. Le persone nei ranghi superiori non lo capiranno.]
Char
[Quando hai spiegato il metodo di utilizzo prima io ho capito ma, lo Psycommu…posso usarlo?]
Sergente Sakioka
[Siccome il nuovo tipo di abilità del colonnello sono ancora sconosciute, non posso confermare niente]
Char
[Dillo chiaramente. Non mi piace]
Sergente Sakioka
[Le mie scuse. Se può essere una consolazione, se il Colonnello è colui che lo usa, le cose dovrebbero andare bene]
Char
[Grazie. Ti crederò.]
Questo scambio
è il mio preferito
nella serie di Gundam.
Beh,
questo mostra chiaramente la personalità di Char.
Il suo modo di pensare è
“Non importa il range della persona,
uno dovrebbe dare la sua onesta opinione senza pregiudizio”.
Lui si tiene su un principio di efficienza.
Un altro punto è,
il Sergente Sakioka, che ha Char come Colonnello sul suo range,
senza esitazioni,
e con atteggiamento severo ha parlato con Char.
Questa è,
una certa confidenza in ciò che aveva fatto e preparato
in altre parole lo Zeong, che gli ha dato quella personalità.
Sono andato off topic…
Io desidero avere un rapporto come quello che condividono loro due.
Come atleta ,
come musicista,
come corridore,
non importa di cosa ti occupi,
se non hai un partner che può essere questo per te,
non puoi conquistare il mondo anche se da solo ne hai il potere.
Per me, la Murcielago è un Gelgoog.
L’Aventador potrebbe essere considerata come una Hyaku Shiki immagino…
Io,
più che la Aventador,
preferisco questo cavallo indisciplinato, la Murcielago.
La Murcielago mi ha sempre dato infiniti problemi ma,
come previsto mi piace di più.
Forse è la sensazione di guidare una All-Door type…
Questa è la mia danneggiata amata Murcielago.
Il paraurti si è incastrato nella sbarra del marciapiede del parcheggio delle macchine e il carbonio è entrato nella spaccatura
Quando è successo l’incidente,
la sbarra del marciapiede è diventato qualcosa come uno stopper,
e non mi potevo muovere affatto.
Quango si visita il condominio di un caro amico,
che succeda un tale incidente…
Molto personale di sicurezza
ha fatto molte prove e errori riguardo questo
e alla fine hanno dovuto rimuovere la barra del marciapiede dalla terra e dalle sue fondamenta.
Vedere il carbonio che si è rotto sembra doloroso.
Il problema non è il costo per aggiustarlo.
Trovare un meccanico all’estero è
davvero difficile.
Anche in Giappone,
per trovare un meccanico su cui puoi veramente contare
ci vuole molto tempo,
ora in una terra straniera sarò in grado di trovarne uno bravo…
Normalmente dovrebbe essere normale pensarla così ma,
sono fortunato nell’incontrare persone.
Dire che questo sia il mio bene non dovrebbe essere un’esagerazione.
A causa di questo incidente,
inaspettate e nuove conoscenze sono arrivate da me ancora.
Con questa causa,
ho incontrato un guidatore di Lamborghini,
e ho incontrato il caro amico del mio amico,
un ragazzo chiamato Zen.
Dopo un pasto insieme, ci siamo divertiti,
ci ha invitati a vedere la sua industria
noi siamo andati e abbiamo incontrati molti meccanici
che lavoravano duramente sistemando tante bellissime macchine allineate.
In questa industria,
sono stato presentato a Zen e al suo Partner.
Ho parlato un po’ con il suo partner malizioso.
Mentre facevamo casino con lui ed il suo partner,
abbiamo parlato di argomenti diversi.
I due sembravano felici di parlare liberamente come bambini.
La mia macchina era definitivamente danneggiata ma
essere in grado di incontrare persone così grandiose per caso
è qualcosa per cui sono grato.
Zen, il partner, che educatamente
presentava le macchine nell’industra una ad una.
Zen ed il suo partner
ha una seria espressione davanti alla macchina da corsa,
e ha parlato in dettaglio riguardo ad essa,
e ancora la stessa scena ha attraversato la mia mente.
Posso praticamente riproporre la loro conversazione…
[Ah~!!! Char e Sakioka!!!]

Questo mi ha stretto il petto.
Se parlassi di Gundam ancora
porterebbe via troppo tempo…
Nato da un incidente,
un meraviglioso… nuovo incontro.
Il mio nome è GACKT…
Il mio motto è “Mr. ENCOUNTER”
Quando mi ricatterà di incontrare questi ragazzi ancora,
forse mi mostreranno qualcos’altro di meraviglioso.
I miei ringraziamenti a te che hai sopportato le ferite in modo che io potessi fare questo meraviglioso incontro.
