That GACKT made an appearance at the launch celebration event for the HMB supplement that he uses, Metal Muscle HMB!
The HMB supplement that disproves the theory that muscle = protein.
HMB, which is the main component of it, is something that cannot be generated within the body, and is a component that comes from the consumption of amino acids.
HMB is difficult to get from conventional protein, so it has been turned into a supplement form for an easier and more effective method of consumption.
◆Top-class entertainer GACKT-sama also uses Metal Muscle HMB
On Instagram, GACKT-sama reports his physical changes while he consumes it!!
◆GACKT, too, feels the effects of HMB supplement
『You will understand it’s effects when you look at my body but I very quickly felt it’s effects...
During these 3 months, I didn’t train with any equipment at all.
I consumed 10 tablets in a day (normal quantity is 4) but my body-fat ratio remained constant at 8%.
I could maintain my body while doing only bodyweight training and I felt that this was amazing.
In addition, since I started using it, I was surprised that my silhouette turned out beautifully, and I was able to cut down my training time from 3 hours to 40 minutes.
I think Japanese are suitable for this HMB.
Because we all don’t have the intention of becoming like gorillas.
I think it’s especially suitable for people who want to build beautiful bodies.』
GACKT-sama’s bodyweight training course
Push-ups using chairs
Push-ups that will get you buffed up after 3 times the first time you do it.
You’ll be able to work both the chest muscles and back wing muscles (trapezius muscle and latissimus dorsi muscle)!

Alternating leg-raise sit-ups
Ab training where you raise one leg at a time and then stretch it back out, repeating the motion.
Once you get used to it, you can add quite a load by not only increasing the number of times you do it, but also your speed!!
GACKT-sama also undresses and shows us the ab training!!
Row boat ab exercise
The point is that it can add a considerable load to your inner thighs.
In addition to how fast his speed is when stretching out, how loud the sound tha the makes is was also shocking!
「Anyone can do this if they continue doing it everyday」 said GACKT-sama.

④ Effective even with only bodyweight training!
You can feel the effects from simply doing bodyweight training without needing to use gym equipment for training!
GACKT’s Message
『I’m 44 this year but, training your body has nothing to do with your age.
Start from the moment you think of doing it, and you don’t need to do anything difficult, by just doing what you’ve decided on everyday, you will at the very least get a body similar my friends’ here.
I believe that there are a lot of busy people who have no time to go to the gym because of work but even just 40 minutes when you get home or before you leave for work in the morning is enough.
I think it’s more meaningful to workout 40 minutes everyday instead of going to the gym once a week.
Please do try Metal Muscle HMB which will improve the effectiveness of your training and create the maximum amount of muscle possible for you.
After trying it once, I believe you’ll understand it’s effectiveness.』

If GACKT gets an offer from Hollywood? 「I want to act as King Kong!」 Movie 『Kong: Skull Island』 Roaring × Cheering Screening Event
On April 5, the Roaring x Cheering Screening Event for the movie 『Kong: Skull Island』 was held at Tokyo Marunouchi’s Piccadilly 3, where GACKT, who is part of the Japanese dubbing cast for this movie, made an appearance.
King Kong, who has a lot of fans around the world, appears as the biggest, most fearsome x most powerful x fiercest king in this major action-adventure epic movie set on Skull Island. GACKT lend his voice for the Japanese dub of team leader Conrad, acted by Tom Hiddleston.
GACKT, who appeared from the back of the venue to loud cheers, appeared to be in a good mood saying 「Everyone seems energetic today～」.
Having also attended the Japan premiere on March 15, he also deepened relationships with Tom and the others who visited Japan. 「We spoke backstage and in the hotel」 he said, 「It seemed that filming in the jungle was really tough, the humidity and the heat makes you feel dispirited, he said」GACKT revealed, and also added 「Anyway (during the Japan premiere) it was cold. Golden Gai? Because it was so cold, once (the event) ended, they rushed into their cars and left」he said with a wry smile.
When asked what he would do if GACKT himself got an offer to act in a Hollywood movie, he replied without hesitation, 「If the timing’s right」. When he watched this movie, he said 「I thought that the person who appeared in the beginning was an actor who looked like MIYAVI. I kept thinking, so there are people in the world who do look like you, and that they really look alike… And when his name appeared in the ending credits, I was like “What! It’s really MIYAVI!” (laughs)」, talking about his surprise at seeing MIYAVI act as the Japanese military pilot Gunpai Igari. When asked what role he would like if he was asked to act, GACKT replied, 「For me I would like to act as King Kong (laughs)」, making the audience laugh.
Also, with regards to scenes he would particularly like people to focus on, he said 「There’s a Vietnam scene that appears in the movie though, my friends who live in America appear in it too. Just as I thought that they went all the way to Vietnam to film on site, they told me it was all done in a studio, which surprised me. The scale was of one that I wouldn’t have expected to be filmed in a studio! 」, appearing to be overwhelmed by the scale of Hollywood movies.
This movie is filled with a sense of urgency but, with regards to GACKT’s own most nerve-wracking moment in his life, he revealed 「In the past, when I was in a bar at Hokkaido’s Shizunai where I was visiting, I was surrounded by 500 villagers in the middle of the night, and I got mobbed」. He added 「It was the real-life Walking Dead…」 and laughed.
On that day, it is an event where the Roaring Screening and Cheering Screening is being held at the same time. He said to the audience 「Enjoy the great sound and powerful visuals!」, and said, full of confidence 「I don’t mean to brag but, I think my voice is pretty good (laughs)」. He added 「You might feel a little weird at the start but after around 20 minutes, that feeling will disappear and around the ending, it’ll sound like it’s Tom’s voice」. This time, the subtitled version will be screened but he appealed with power 「Do watch the dubbed version too!」.
