By the time I woke up, it was noon.
I did light training in the room,
then enjoyed some tea in the hotel’s lounge.
I finished a few meetings.
And was lastly supposed to have a meeting with my secretary but
her gait was weird.
It’s little wonder.
Apparently she broke her back during training from a stress fracture.
Wearing a corset,
she came all the way to the hotel but her gait looks painful.
Getting a stress fracture for the sake of training your body
is really getting your priorities wrong…
As I grew older,
I feel that instead of training at the gym once a week,
diligently building up your training everyday
is much more meaningful.
After the meeting ended,
I wend straight for dinner,
then headed to the airport.
This time I’m only staying in Japan for one day.
As I walked down the aisle in Narita
while being led by the airport staff
I felt again the fatigue that my body hasn’t recovered from.
「I’ll have a good rest when I get back…」
That was what I thought but,
I could hardly sleep in the plane
and remained awake all the way through.
In the blink of an eye,
we arrived in KL’s airport.
As expected, no one was around since it was 4 in the morning.
I walked alone in the empty airport
then took a breather in the cafe.
Just like that I went back home.
I thought of sleeping but
because it’s a Sunday
the Chinese New Year celebrations were going on outside
with the sound of firecrackers going off.
I couldn’t sleep at all.
My business partner came to my house to visit.
We talked together for quite awhile before going off.
Changed my clothes.
Although I’m sleepy I can’t sleep.
Feels like I’m floating.
I suppose I’ll definitely feel like this for the whole of today.
I’ll go outside and breathe in some fresh air for awhile.
Maybe I’ll be able to get a change of pace.
