GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:

After finishing my morning training
I immediately started preparing.

You’d notice that I’m dressing as though I’m in a tropical country
and that should be no wonder.
Because I’m heading back to Japan now.

I heard that’s it’s still cold.
Quite cold…

Mm. I don’t wanna catch a cold…

Before going to the airport, I had dinner with friends
and in the blink of an eye, it was departure time.
Took a picture outside the restaurant in the midst of rushing.

Arrived at the airport in the nick of time.
We quickly checked in and finally got a sense of relief.

From then, we thought we could have coffee
and slowly walk over to the gate and we’d still be on time.

But, on the way, we were stopped by the airport staff
who asked to take a photo with me, and I couldn’t say no
so that somehow took up quite some time…

Mm
even though I told them, it’s almost time for me to board…
they wouldn’t really get any faster.

In the end, by the time I reached the gate
it was again at the last moment.

Then, the smoothly took off.

Yesterday, North Korea’s Kim Jong-nam was killed.
Furthermore, it was done by North Korean spies.

He was probably killed by his step brother.
Even so, can’t they not kill him in someone else’s country.

It’s a cold world we’re living in, really.

A lot of friends got worried and contacted me but
it was perfectly normal in the airport.
Not one bit of commotion.

Even if all kinds of things have happened
I still feel pity for Kim Jong-nam who was killed by his own family.

Before I knew it, I fell asleep.
I woke up to the sunrise.

It’s beautiful.
Just being able to see this sunrise
makes me feel thankful for being alive.

Life is not eternal.

Because we never know when it ends
we have to be grateful for everything.

But well, people would probably say it’s unlike me
wehn I say things like this but
when I passed the age of 30
I became grateful for a lot of things.

When I passed the age of 40
everyday, I feel how precious each day is.

The morning sun is rising.
Well, I’ve arrived in the cold Japan.

I’ll do my best.
