Mixi’s <2121> XFLAG studio launched their new smartphone game『Fight League』in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Canada, on June 22.

In conjunction with the launch, today (June 22) at 14:00, at Tokyo’s Belle Salle Akihabara, the『Fight League』launch event was held.. On this day, the performance was done with projection mapping, and with a perspective that makes it feel like you’ve really entered the world of『Fight League』, Hiromisu-san, who was selected through the pre-registration campaign, and GACKT-san formed a tag team, and got into a heated battle against Taka & Toshi. The event started with the『Fight League』commissioner, Kusui Daichi arriving. Kusui began by saying,「XFLAG Studio is working hard everyday to achieve our mission of continuing to create battle entertainment that can be enjoyed between friends and family members in a lively manner」, then continued「To create excitement and enthusiasm, we have created new entertainment for the smartphone, and this is what we will be announcing here」, thus beginning the『Fight League』launch event.

Following this, the Yoshida Brothers appeared and did a live performance of『Fight League』’s main theme song「BE THE BEST TOGETHER」.

The rules are exceptionally simple, where you win by getting the opponent leader’s HP to zero. When the characters, known as Fighters, are placed on the board they can attack and the directional arrows for each character determines their attack range.

▲Especially, with regards to GACKT-san’s moves, where he closed the gap from being attacked in the first turn and activated a chain, attacking both the leader and the opponent Fighter at the same time, it was as he said before the battle,「I was pretty into it」showing his knowledge.

During the battle, Taka & Toshi ignored the opponent Fighters on the board and focused on the leader, while GACKT-san and Hiromisu-san properly cleared the opponent Fighters and gradually got control of the board.

▲GACKT-san used the「Fighting Burst」, which is a special attack that can only be used once when the Leader’s HP falls below 2000 points. The effects of「Fighting Burst」differs between the Brands.

In the end, GACKT-san and Hiromisu-san showed perfect cooperation with a chain, and with over half the board controlled by them, they defeated Taka & Toshi and won.

GACKT Team, who won impressively, was presented with 1,000 Fight Money, or 100 Fighters, from Kusui. After the battle concluded, Hiromisu-san said「It felt great at the end when the chain was completed with a Fighter that I placed myself」.

▲On the other hand, the defeated Toshi-san said「As a duo, we’ve been working together for 22 years, so I thought that we definitely won’t lose but the gap between our individual abilities was too wide. But we’ll play it more from here on, and we’d like to battle against GACKT-san once more」, promising revenge.

At the end, with regards to his thoughts on this event, GACKT-san said,「I think that a game that you can play while communicating is something that the current era needs. I think it’s a wonderful thing to be able to be together with the people around you, and enjoy and grow together」, thus closing the event.
